uring my holidays in the tropical areas of our planet I became addicted to the vegetation. I decided that I wanted that at home as well. Tropical for me is palm trees, banana trees and a lot of colorful flowers. Without any knowledge of tropical plants and what was possible in the Dutch climate I started to experiment. Now I have flowering banana trees, several palm trees, kiwi plants, fig, passiflora and more in my garden. Even more important, they survive the Dutch winters (thanks to global warming?).
