On monday 24-05-1999 it rained 54 mm at Leucate (and La Franqui). I could NOT hear the radio in my caravan. So
much noice made the rain. The next day it was wind 5-6 beaufort from the sea !! The beach was flooded..
First from the rain and now from the sea-wind. Access to the beach with car was unpossible. Every where it was
flooded. So I left for Spain. When I passed by on sunday 30-05-1999 it was possible again to buggy on some parts of
the beach.
When the beach is flooded like this it takes a minimum of 2 days with the Tramontane before some dry spots can be
found. First the Tramontane then minimum 2 days....
19-05-1999 Club LEVKOS is replaced by club MISTRAL.
june-2000 Nothing. No clubs on the beach.
