Museum set 2022 and 2023
I try to visit the Maerklin museum every year.
Of course this depends on the available time and the
destination of our holidays.
Every visit I buy the museumcar.
For the older ones I have to see what is available on the second hand market at a reasonable price.
When we are not able to go to the museum I'll buy the museum car elsewhere.

The truck model with a trailer is a combination of metal and plastic. It is painted and lettered as a plant truck for the firm.

Four-axle standard design tank car, older design with pressed metal trucks and a brakeman's platform. Privately owned car for the firm Zeller + Gmelin GmbH & Co.KG, petroleum oil refinery, Eislingen/Fils, Germany, used on the German Federal Railroad (DB). MB type LP 328 tanker truck as a flat front, front-steering vehicle painted and lettered for the firm Zeller + Gmelin to transport refinery products. The railroad car and truck look as they did in mid to end of the Seventies.

The railroad car and the truck look as they did around 1979.

H0 Gauge Museum Car for 2021 Prototype: "Dresden" design type Gl 22 two-axle boxcar. Short version without a handbrake, brakeman's platform, brakeman's cab, and without doors in the end walls. Privately owned car painted and lettered for the firm Friedr. Dick, Esslingen, Germany, used on the German Federal Railroad (DB). The car looks as it did around 1959.
Model: The freight car does not have end wall doors indicated. The car has truss rods and additional running boards. Length over the buffers 13.9 cm / 5-1/2". DC wheelset E700580. A utility knife with a red handle and etched Märklin lettering is included. The car comes in attractive packaging in a metal tin.

H0 Gauge Museum Car for 2022 Prototype: Four-axle type OOtz41 hopper car. Includes high upper body and welded standard design pressed metal trucks. Reddish brown basic paint scheme with promotional lettering on the sides. Privately owned car for the Göppingen Municipal Utilities (SWG), used on the German Federal Railroad (DB). VW T1 bus with a baggage carrier for the Göppingen Municipal Utilities. The units look as they did around 1959.
Model: The hopper car has detailed construction and includes a brakeman's platform and a setting wheel at the end. The car is loaded with real, scale-sized coal as a load insert. Length over the buffers 11.5 cm. A Schuco model of a VW T1 bus with a baggage carrier is included.
There is attractive packaging in a metal container.

H0 Gauge Museum Car Set for 2023
Prototype: Type Tbes-t-66 two-axle sliding roof / sliding wall car, with advertising lettering on the sides. Version with convex sliding walls. Brownish-red sliding walls and sliding roof. Privately owned car for the firm Andreas Stihl Machinery Company, Waiblingen-Neustadt, Germany, used on the German Federal Railroad (DB). 1 Opel Rekord P2 Caravan automobile as a company car for the firm Firma Stihl. The units look as they did around 1962.
Model: The railroad car has ladders at the ends and operating platforms. It also has a 2-part sliding roof constructed of metal, which can be opened. Length over the buffers 16 cm.
A Brekina model of an Opel Rekord P2 Caravan is included. There is attractive packaging in a metal tin.
