This is the starting point. The seat is based on the seat as it comes with the retail buggy. The "fish net" is replaced by fabric from a sportsbag. A 4th seatbelt webbing with loops is added close to the rear-axle. This webbing is tightened between the (side) frame tubes. This gives extra support to the lower part of your back (or upper part of your bottom). I estimate that the 3rd and 4th webbing loops have to be connected somehow to prevent the added 4th seatbelt webbing from slipping down to the rearaxle and to increase the support. Its still possible to add a SpringBack for more comfort. Check here if you want to know how to build one.

But then again how can you integrate Seat and SpringBack to form "one" smooth comfortable seat?
It is what I tried as can see on the next photo's ("click" on the text). I started with a fine "fish net". Added a SpringBack and will finish it with a pillow for bottom and back. It already feels like an easy-chair. But is it good enough and will the side support be enough ??
There is certainly more freedom to move around. The buggy is fitted with extra wide wheels (approx. 2x standard width).

An other approach is to move the SpringBack from the rear-axle to the seat and add solid side support. It is what I will try next.
